Joinery3D Instruction Manual

Controls & Navigation

  • Rotate Camera: Left Click & Drag in empty space
  • Pan Camera: Right Click & Drag OR Hold Shift + Left Click & Drag
  • Zoom Camera: Scroll Mouse Wheel
  • Select Wood Piece: Left Click directly on any piece
  • Deselect Piece: Left Click empty space or press Esc

Modifying Pieces

  • Move Wood: Click & Drag the wood piece itself to slide it along the table. The AABB physics engine will prevent pieces from merging or sliding through each other.
  • Stretch Wood Dimensions: Select a piece to reveal colored balls on each face. Click & Drag a handle (Red = X-axis, Green = Y-axis, Blue = Z-axis) to stretch or shrink the wood dynamically.
  • Inspector Adjustments: In the right sidebar, enter exact length, width, or thickness values for pixel-perfect adjustments.
  • Duplicate: Use the duplicate button or press Ctrl + D to copy a piece. Great for building joists, frame borders, or chair legs!

Saving Projects

  • Click Save to save your current woodwork to your browser's LocalStorage.
  • Click Load to recover your saved design.
